David and I landed in Paris around 0930 and found the the limo company had canceled our reservations, we still made it to the hotel on a regular shuttle but it took until 1210.  We got into the Marriott Rive Gauche hotel and got refreshed and when directly to the Louvre.  We had a nice cheese and meat sandwich outside under the arch and met our tour guide Kristine.  We had a private tour of the Louvre for three hours and then David and I spent another 3.5 hours touring the Louvre on our own.  We had a great dinner on the way home at a small French creep place. We went back to the hotel to call home and crashed. Frodo

March 17

We began today a with a quality French breakfast of coffee and croissant. After wandering around after breakfast we met our tour guide, Tina, at the Musee d'Orsay. We had an excellent tour consisting of a tour throughout time, as it were. We began in the late 1700's early 1800's and went all the way up to the early 1900's. We learned a bunch. After our tour we went out an grabbed a bite to eat in a French restaurant. We then got on the red bus tour, and rode that getting off at the Eiffel tower, Arch de Triumph, Notre dam, and many other spots. After touring around for a bit we returned to the Musee d'Orsay, and looked around until closing. We then took a one-hour walk back to our hotel. Tonight we plan to eat at Les Georges, this restaurant overlooks the Eiffel Tower. Until Rome.....
