After a wonderful breakfast at Burg Bruch, we jumped on the road down to Trier.  The town was once an old Roman town, and later a Bishropic of Rome.  There was a big exhibition in town amongst three museum of all things Roman and Constantine.  We saw the big Dom (the oldest Christian Church north of the Alps, built by Constantine in honor of his mother) and a huge basillica, and drove by the birthplace of Karl Marx.  A highlight might have been a reliquary holding the sandal of St. Andrew!

We had a brat on the street (which we found out was tres gauche) and headed off to Luxembourg!
