Spent four days in Launceston (or "Lonnie" as it's called for short), staying at my aunt Elisabeth's place. Went to Cataract Gorge, both locations of the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, and took a tour with Launceston Historic Walks.
Not a huge place (population about 100,000), so it's easy to explore by foot. Plenty of parks, churches and attractive architecture. Worth visiting for several days.
