First impressions: a sea side resort for rich south africans.Frankly, this could be almost anywhere. It's pleasant enough but it's too much like a a holiday resort for my liking. And I know theres a contradiction ther somewhere.

I guess Its a pull for tourists because of the great beaches and scenery.

, it's just spoilt by all the developement.

I took a hike around " Robberg" ,the Penninsula. Stunning scenery and views of seals nearly made up for the gruelling 5 hour climb and scramble the coast.

Xmas is  low key here but they did have "Carols by Candlelight' on the beach. Half in English, half in Africans.Very odd.

I couldn't see much reason to hang around too long , so back on the bus...
