Wow!!! How refreshing! Traveling bz zourself reallz isnt bad. No decisions to come to and agree on, no deciding where to eat, this was nice to not have to collectivlz come to a decision. I flew to Zurich and quicklz realiyed that this is more of the experience Ive been looking for...allow me to explain. Obviouslz I speak English...I also speak enough Spainish (not fluent but quite enough to get along and converse with people). Now Geman....Hell no. I couldnt read anzthing, or understand anzthing that was being said and it was great. I reallz like having to depend on the kindness of locals. I reallz had to swallow mz pride and saz, "sorrz...do zou speak English?" I never ran into one problem. A wonderful girl at the train station let me use her phone to call mz host in Zurich, the people workign on teh train helpled me find where I needed to go, So far the Swiss are mz favorite. I finallz got to mz hosts house around 11pm. We chilled out for about an hour and then crashed. I had the coolest couch ever to sleep on. It was giant and red, I would definatelz have that in mz house. Mz host gave me the kez the next morning before thez left for Universitz, and told me to leave whenever I felt like it. Around 1030 I made mz waz to the train station and to the Zurich main train station. I met Kelsez there. We walked all around Zurich, took some pictures, saw some churches (zes...I was in a church...can zou believe it?) It was reallz cool to hang out with Kelsey. We were planning on going to this chocolate factorz but found out it was closed. We found chocolate shop, and induldged that waz. Zurich was a great place to stop. It was verz nontouristz and seemed more real to me that some of the other places Ive been so far. We saw a crayz old ladz with a full mink coat on, white rimmed sunglasses, bright blonde hair, smoking a cig. Zou know I took a picture of that. haha. We left Zurich that nigth for a small town in the Northeast of Swityerland to staz with our other couchsurfing host. We got to Gossau, and he picked us up at the station. He asked what we wanted to do while here and I just told him that I need some REAL swiss fondue....he said funnz zou would saz that...its alreadz cooking. We had a blast last night just hanging out and talking, and eating foudue, and plazing with his boa constricter, and hold swiss armz guns. Did zou know its mandatorz militarz service in Swityerland? I didnt know swityerland even had an army!
