Well I've finally received my camera so I am stoked that I can finally take some pictures and all. 2G memory card a spare battery and a case. I think I am set. Just by starting I've taken some pictures of the house and my room and my computer and all that so for those of you who have already read the last few entries of my blog, they now have some pictures uploaded to them.

Well the weather the last few days have been like -28 degrees celsius without windchill and when you factor in the wind it gets up to -39. So I was just absolutely freezing my nuts off the last few days and we are talking about standing out for 5 minutes waiting for the shuttle to come. To give you aussies some kind of idea how cold that is, I had to work like 7am one morning and it was like -27 degrees outside and I had to walk roughly 10 metres to wait for a taxi to pick me up to goto work at 6:15am. I left the house with a soft bread roll for breakfast and I was eating it as I was walking and the bread roll got harder and harder and more icier that by half way through the roll it was like rock solid and I had But on top of that it feels likes my nose is constantly running but because my face gets so numb I can't really even tell if I've got goobies coming down my nose. But I have found one thing to be certain, because it is so cold down here the air is so bloody dry and everytime I breath in the cold air it kind of tickles my throat and I start coughing and I guess the constant heater that is on in the house isn't really helping the air as well. I think I'll have to go and get a humidifier to clean the air in my room so I don't get sick. I've also been told to keep up my Vitamin C levels so that it fights off the viruses so Vitamin C tablets are on my shopping list too.

Other than that we've been back to Cowboys(the bar/club) on a Thursday night and it's like 25cent beers all night. They're like half the size of a pot of beer which is pretty darn good. You could also stack these plastic cups ontop of each other like you're holding an ice-cream. I bought like 20 beers the other night for like $6 bucks and then I was stacking them ontop of each other and I ended up spilling like 10 beers all over the bar and it got just a tad messy. I think that's their aim at cowboys - to make these cups that stack on top of each other like leggo and see these drunks drop it all so they buy more beer. The other thing they have at Cowboys is what they call shooter girls who dress up as sexy cowboys carrying a cowboy belt with like a bottle of Jack Daniels on one side and a bottle of Jagermeister in the other instead of guns and they go around getting people to buy a shot. But be aware this is no ordinary shot it's like a value for money shot. It's when these shooter girls stand on top of a chair or something just above you with your back towards them and then you tilt your head back and she poors you a shot and drops it in your mouth then she does the breast rub on you and all this for $5.50.

Other than partying, I've been working a fair bit and mainly on weekends, like I did a 10 hour shift on Friday and finished up at 1.30am and went home had like 4 hours of sleep then I was on the 6:15am taxi to start back at 7am and I did a 15hour shift that day and had like 6hours of sleep then I was back at 9am doing a 6hour shift. Then I went home and crashed on my bed out like a light and got up 12hours later. I think I'm recovered now, I had the last 3 days off so it's been great. But it's been good fun, not having to get into a daily cycle everyday. Well that's my entry for today.
