We arrived late last night. Our flights were OK although there were a few mishaps (Aidan had a flight attendant spill cream on her, Ainsley had one spill coffee on her). There were 4 babies around us. It seemed like one was always crying. One would start, triggering the others. Needless to say, we did not sleep long on the flight to London. Passport control took about an hour to get through at Gatwick. Then we had to wait for 3 hours to check in to our next flight. Unfortunately, there were barely any seats so we had to find a spot along a wall. The flight to Athens was pretty uneventful and we arrived at about 9:30pm. We were punch-drunk with fatigue, so after a few misturns, stumbled to the hotel at about 11pm.

We got a later start than we intended this morning. We did a self-guided walking tour recommended by the guide book. It is difficult to figure out the streets as they're either in Greek or have several English versions. We walked around the ancient Agora and Parthenon which we're planning to visit on Monday. It's very hot even though it's cloudy, I think about 32°C. We're recharging right now before hitting the streets again in a couple of hours.
