after recieving a number of comments and even an offer from my parents to ship soap from the US, i feel i should clarify:
i DO have soap here. it's in my appartment and is available at the supermarket.
take nothing for granted.
so rest assured knowing that i wash my hands - frequently. only some kosovars don't use it.

is it hot where you are? 104. but at least you have a.c. i don't mind so much, because id rather be hot than cold, but it's beginning to wear on the team here. so i spend most nights reading by candlelight, staying up just a little longer in hopes that the water will come on long enough for me to get even a cold shower. here the water and electricity come on and off with accute irregularity.
it's not so bad during the day, unless you want to cook, or clean dishes. or do laundry. when the power is out, we cook at the missionarie's house using 'the bomb' (their propane tank) as a stove.

a few days ago some people from the team and Basart (he's friends with the missionaries here) were at a cafe. basart was telling us how lucky we were getting to travel all over the world, and someone asked him if he could go anywhere, where would it be?
his answer suprised all of us: heaven. but his family is muslim, thus he is muslim.
pray for basart. the Lord longs to see basart trust Jesus alone.
every day i am getting more excited for camp - i'm getting to know the translators - most know english from being refugees in english speaking countries. they're dear sweet girls.
love love!
p.s. lindsay and mark - hollie and i stayed up late last night making shadow puppets and reminiscing about brendan leonard.
