Arrived early evening and just had time to sort myself out before going on a boat trip to see the 'Floating Islands' and all the wildlife there. It was very hot and humid too!!!
The full title of the park is 'Parc National Laguna y Esteros del Ibera" - that's a bit of a mouthful. There aren't many tourists here yet thank goodness, so everything is still very natural and unspoilt. Was able to get really close to a stag and caimen as well as capibara and lots of different kinds of birds. It was really wonderful to see everything up so close and the sunset was stunning!!!

Next day was a walk in the parc and managed to see a monkey - although the photos didn't turn out!!! As well as lots of birds and a wild cat. The place was so peaceful and every one was helpful and genuine in wanting to help you.
I was supposed to get a bus at 4 in the morning, but it didn't arrive!!! There were some lovely people who were travelling that way and they insisted on giving me a lift and sharing there food and showing me even more wildlife etc not something I would normally do, but lots of people in Argentina are really genuine. It was a good job though or I would have missed my conection to Buenos Aires and maybe even my plane connection to New Zealand.
