We finally arrived, however we are stuck in the Seoul airport for 4 hours until our next flight which is 6 hours long. The flight from Atl to Seoul was the inaugural flight. There was news coverage, Korean dancers, bands, and free food. the good news was that it was a new plane and all the entertainment was complimentary such as the games and movies... this made the flight much more bearable. We were also blessed with having what appeared to be the only 2 open seats on the plane...so Lauren and I were allowed to strecth out and sleep for the majority. Mom enjoyed her blow up neck pillow...

The best part of the trip so far is Lauren going through the first security check out in Savannah, where they confiscated all of her toiletries for being over 3.4 oz... her face was priceless. oh, and I wish some one could take a picture of us walking throught the airport in our matching backpacks...they are waterproof(shiny plastic). Lauren-orange Mom- red  Dad & me- smurf blue...very cute... Our tourist status is very evident, if the backpacks didn't give it away, Lauren is about a foot taller than everyone else...

Wish us luck!

Sounds like the packing went well. I think we should consider matching backpacks (and twinkies) for some triathlons when you return. Stay in shape, have fun, please don't drink any beer and it will be fun following your trip. My Best -- john
