We took the Glacier Express form Zermatt to St. Moritz. The ride was about 8 hours hence we brought along a lot of snacks like potato chips and other drinks. he scene along the way was fantastic but I guess it would be even better in winter when the tracks were covered in snow. Some part we passed by were in high altitudes and it was nice looking down. We could lie down on the seats as we had four seats to ourselves. The seats were wide and comfortable too.

St. Moritz was a splendid place to stay in. It was serene and people there seemed relaxed. It was my birthday and my friend Janay actually prepared a surprised gift for me! It was a set of beautiful Taro cards she sent to this hotel beforehand! She was very thoughtful! The owner of the hotel also gave us a room with toilet attached, FOC! So it was a wonderful day for me. We went shopping for groceries again and we bought a BBQ chicken for dinner and had it along the lake. It was superb! Wonder if we could eat it again?

The next day before we set off for Lugano we went strolling along the nice lake. Many people were jogging or walking their dog. Such a good lifestyle! St. Moritz was really a must go! We look forward to Bernina Express that would bring us to Italy.
