Here I am in the "driveway" of my coteachers house (okay, they don't actually drive on this). Yep, this is how they get up to their house. It's pretty mossy and can be quite treacherous, especially when it's raining!

Well, it finally happened this morning. I came downstairs to make breakfast and open the doors to get some of the "cool" morning air circulating, and as I approached the front door I noticed a darting motion off to my left. Yep, it was a gecko. I'm actually surprised it took this long for one to get in the house, but I'm not surprised this one did. He was so small! I bet he was only two inches long. Anyway, he darted inside a space near the door hinge, and I can't figure out whether or not he's actually still inside the house. Ahh, Malaysia. :)

This is where I saw the monkey walking. I can't imagine looking outside my window and seeing a monkey strolling across my driveway...

Today I finally got to see where my coteachers live! It's not actually that far away from where I live, but it really feels like it because of the surrounding foliage - very lush and much more of a jungle feel than my neighborhood! In fact, when we were leaving for dinner, I saw a monkey walking across a neighbor's driveway! There were also several monkeys eating and shrieking in the field and trees across the road. So fun!
