Off we go from the quiet  town of Sarlac to the grand castle at

Chambord where we plan to stay for several days.  The only problem

Sarlac

is that we do not yet have a hotel.  We have sent out an e-mail,

but since that was last night at 10, and this is just 8:15, I don't

expect an answer.  We are looking for WiFi places on the road.

We are all packed.  Antonette is making sandwiches with the

unbelievably good pate we got at the market, the wine is ready (that

was first of course) and off we go.

Our WiFi connection is not possible from the hotel with the exception

of out on the balcony or out on the terrace of one of the rooms.

Last night Alexandra and I were outside and met the people at the next

apartment over.  These are retired people (guy is 65) who are here

for 5 days.  They travel around evry year, just exploring and

enjoying.  Makes me think that that is the life indeed.  The

only thing I would change from our trip is to never stay anywhere for

fewer than 5 days.

Sayonara.
