We had planned to stay in Den Haag but we got there and found out there wasn't ANY budget accomadation. So we decided to go straight to Brussels instead. It was probably the best decision we made.
Brussels is a great city. It's huge with a mixture of old and modern buildings and statues dotted around the place.
We did all of our sight seeing in one day. We went to see Manneken Pis, the Atomium and the Chinese summerhouse and Japanese tower.
In the evenings we would watch TV. Each night there was a really good film on.
OH Belgian beer is amazing (and strong)
