We flew out of Milan very early in the morning.  I'm not sure we actually slept lat night since we left the hostel around midnight.  We took one last ride on our double-decker bus after coming back to the main island of Venice on a boat.  Milan is the farthest Northwest we've gone, but we didn't really get to see it.

The airport is very big and interestingly had no one working at the ticket counter until an hour or so after we got there.  We got some hot drinks to kill time and warm us up.  Imagine my shock when my cioccolatto (hot chocolate) came with a spoon.  It was basically very warm pudding.  The hot chocolate in Italy is normally thicker and darker than the stuff at home, but this was the most extreme.
