Crossed the greater part of the Great Plains in one day - straight shot across eastern Colorado and Kansas on I-70. Pretty rolling green hills of Kansas, though it can get a bit monotonous after a while. Saw a billboard advertising local tourist attractions: "World's largest prairie dog" and 'Five-legged cow"
Stayed in Lawrence, the hip college town where I stayed one year ago while writing for Let's Go.
