Day 1 - Inverness

Today Adriana and I arrived in Inverness, Scotland. We left last night at midnight and arrived at midday here after a couple of stops and bus swaps. The bus from the change-point (in Scotland where you make the choice to head to Edinburgh or go north) was freezing. I sat next to a couple of Japanese people on the bus and attempted to speak a little bit of Japanese to them. It reminded me that I still really want to go to Japan. I was thinking maybe I will go on my way home after I spend a long stint in this job and finally have some casth (ugggh!). I also want to go to Nepal, India and the USA - looks like I'll be travelling for a while longer.

Anyway, Adriana and I checked into the hostel, which is a small, nice, clean place and then went to mosy around the town for a bit. We went up to Inverness Catle and took some pictures. We went to several Scottish shops. After, we had coffee and something to eat at a local coffee shop.

In the evening, we went to a pub with a couple of the staff and another guy at the hostel (Linda, from German, a Scottish guy and Tarras, a guy from the Ukraine). That was a bit of fun! The pub got quite full and lively as the night progressed. There was somebody playing live music and lots of people having a dance. It was fun!
