Where for art thou Verona

Just a quick stop in Verona to see Juliet's apparent balcony. We made it to Italy today and are preparing to conquer the country in less than a week. Oh boy. But, I had my first slice of authentic Italian pizza. It was good. It still didn't top my favourite at Boston Pizza...but it was cool to be indulging in a LARGE slice (there are no small slices here!). I'm just going to start loosening my waist belt...

And, then we headed to Verona for a few hours to check out Juliet's apparent balcony and fight the mob of pushy asian tourists. Everyone left a note on Juliet's wall with a message tacked on with chewing gum (aren't tourists great...hey - my tour group didn't start the tradition...but we were eager to join in). We then continued on our journey to spend a few nights in Venice. A city that blew away my expectations.

No sign of Romeo...
