I met up with Sandy and Dave and Sydney and Matthw at the Lyon Airport and was transported to their Villa in france along with Dave's brother Mike.

We had 4 blissful days and nights relaxing in the Bordeaux and Beaujolais countryside visiting vineyards, and lazing by the pool.

Dinners were fabulous with super wines and Dave BBQing the old fashioned way on hot charcoal and Matthew creating my favorite of all deserts, Smores!

The one hilarity of it all was the church clock which not only sounded the hour off 24/7, but at 7 am, went haywire and bonged 50 or 60 times, just to make sure the village was awake!
