this place can do your head in!  even the peaks and troughs of emotions are extreme.  It is pouring with rain outside.

went back to the retarded fisherman for halibut and chips which was once again amazing but could not drown my sorrows down there. and today is super lazy, there is just nothing going on at all.  i think i will be forced to drink a bottle of red tonight in the attempt to make me feel better. there is a slight possibility of extending my stay to Thursday as i don't fly to Sydney until 10.30pm on that evening so realistically i could be here until Thursday.  It has not been cleared yet and they don't think they can fit me in as it is pretty well maximum capacity as it is.

when you compare the san diego zoo with the best day of your life, i somehow don't think the zoo can quite deliver the same level of satisfaction.  We shall have to wait to see until tomorrow....
