5 Days Left...

I have five days left until I leave for Germany and I'm getting more sad about it.  I'm leaving so much behind to do this thing and I feel as if nothing will be the same when I come back.  I'll be an ODU graduate, I'll have job prospects (hopefully), and Allan will be two and a half!

Another thing I'm nervous about is my relationship with Frankie.  He got a job with the Portsmouth Fire Department and I'm so proud of him -- I can't wait to see him in uniform -- but I'm afraid he'll forget all about me when I'm gone.  I keep telling myself everything happens for a reason, so if (God forbid) he forgets about me, that just means we weren't meant to be.

...nothing will be the same when I come back...

We'll see.  I'll worry about all that when/if it happens.  For now, I'm trying to enjoy the time I have left with friends and family.
