Today we toured some of San Francisco's neighborhoods.  Sadly, we didn't realize that many shops don't open till 11am or noon, so we mainly walked through these places rather than shop or browse.  That's ok, they were still worth seeing!

We caught the bus out to Mission, a spanish-influenced quarter of town.  We walked from there to Castro, which we read was the most gay-friendly area of town.  Funny, we were warned that it wasn't a "nice" walk between the two areas but we felt perfectly safe and nobody approached us (unlike the Union Square area).  It was nice in Castro - there was a Pottery Barn open, at least!  We took the bus to Haight & Ashbury, a really fun neighborhood with lots of really unique shops.  It was bustling there - must be a popular area.  It was easy to spend the rest of the day there!

We are also of guilty of going back to the Cheesecake Factory and getting dessert to go - tiramisu and key lime cheesecake.  So wonderful.  I could seriously eat dessert there every night for a month and always be able to try something new.  Yum.
