Nice was Nice

Nice was both beautiful and relaxing.  The highlight of our time in Nice was the hostel we stayed in called Villa Saint Exupery.  It was a family run hostel with excellent villa style rooms, great home-made dinners, free internet and huge room to chill out and have some drinks with other travellers.

We met up with travel buddies from Rome, Corey and Ian, and spent our days site seeing and nights playing cards and laughing over drinks.

There was very little to do in Nice but we sat on the pebbly beach for a few hours and took a day trip to Eze and the elegant Monaco.

Eze was a small little village where we wandered up through the narrow streets to a cactus garden high above the shoreline to get a great view of the cities below.

Monaco was a fancy tourist destination where we looked at the castle and expensive cars parked outside of the Monte Carlo Caino.
