Hanoi - Stopover

With our Halong Bay trip cut short we had a day to kill in Hanoi. I wanted to buy some things for the trekking e.g. a rain jacket and some kind of trekking shoes/runnners. This turned out to be harder than it would appear. Hanoi is broken down into streets which sell everything of that one type e.g. shoe street, bamboo street, chopstick street :o)

In the end I was able to buy everything I needed including a rain-jacket which turns out had U.S.A written on the back of it - the hick!! :o)

One Day Stopover before Sapa..
