Back to Madrid
From My time in Europe 2006 in Madrid, Spain on Jan 20 '06
Well, we´re back in Madrid. What a trip! After Seville we stopped in Cordoba and saw the amazing cathedral that used to be a Masque. Wow. Yet, it´s nice to be back to somewhere that can be considered a type of home with drawers and places to put your things.
I have learned that my apartment is in a great location. I´m 4 blocks from a beautiful and large park, great for running. Or for being so into how beautiful it is you get lost in shorts for an hour and a half trying to find what bloody enterance to the park you used. Ah well, won´t make that mistake again. I´m also walking distance to the Prado (very famous art museum) and Sol (Madrid´s literal center and center for shopping).
How do you settle in to an adventure?
I´m having a difficult time understanding my host family, but hope that gets easier with time. I have my first classes today, wish me luck!
