Another top 10 for Christmas

Looked on the map and Orewa was pretty much the nearest large beach type area before the main motorway drag to Auckland so we felt this would be a good place to pitch up for the last couple of days before Christmas especially when we saw there was a Top 10 camp right on the beach front just out of the town centre. Excellent site location and facilities, didn't really do a great deal of stuff here just chilled out and wandered round town and sat on the beach watching people kite surfing. We were greeted with an awesome sunrise on Christmas day morning off the coast [see piccys] then packed up our tent and stuff to take advantage of the posh hotel in Auckland and miss the holiday traffic which as luck would have it was all going the opposite way to us so we had a completely clear run.
