The bus trip down from Machu Picchu was the scariest thing, the road zig zagged down very steeply and was so near the edge I had to keep looking forward all the time!!!  There were some workmen in the road and the bus driver just beeped his horn and carried on and they were expected to get out of the way!!

Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu village was quite touristy, but people didn´t keep bothering you and so it was quite nice.  Maurice and Isobelle had gone slightly ealier as they had to get the train to there next destination, but the rest of us went for a meal together.  Anna and Claire then had to get their train, but we were staying overnight, as was Michael.

Rachel and I had intended going to the Hot springs later, but in the end just Michael and I went.  They were quite different to the one´s we had been in in Chile and were more of a public bath type thing.  The water itself was not clear, but this was because of the different components in the water.  They were still very relaxing.

Spent most of the morning wandering around the town and doing some shopping, very relaxing, and passing time until the train back to Ollayan.....and then the taxi bus back to Cuzco
