So we made it off our plane ride successfully, without any major panic attacks. Definitely an accomplishment in itself right there. When we arrived we met up with our tour guide, Dara, and our bus driver Bob. We also picked up Christina who was joining our group from Riverside, Cali. After that we were dropped off at Union Station while they went to pick up the other two groups from Baltimore. While we were there we enjoyed lunch, and the realization that we were definitely not in Oregon anymore. After that we took the short journey to the Capital Building and walked around that for awhile. At about 1:30 we met the bus and the other groups from Lousianna and North Cali., and made our way to the Smithsonian Musems, where we had the choice of visiting the Air & Space, American History, or Natural History Museums.

After our adventures through the museums many of us took the time to rest on the walls and benches outside of the musuems until our departure. We then hopped on the bus and went to dinner at Vie De France. After dinner we went on a tour of the monuments. These included the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Monument, the World War II Monument, the Korean War monument, and the Vietnam Monument. Each one ended up turning into it's own little adventure.
We're sorry that this is so brief and probably has a lot of mispellings, but its late, we're tired, and we are on limited time. So Keep Checking Back With Us!!
