Puerto Viejo

Neither of us had the desire to board another bus the next day, wanting instead to take a day to relax, refresh, absorb the events and emotions of the privious week and a half, and not set the larm for some disgusting hour.  Instead we spent a day and a half lazily watching discovery channel specials in the hotel "lobby" if you can call it that with friendly hotel-clerk Andrew and many other diverse characters that made up Hotel Puerto Viejo, as well as strolling lethargically down the expansive surf beach in search of gorgeous and talented surfers (though the surf did not cooperate with our hopes) or the elusive sloth with which we were also lot down.
