Drove out of the Black Hills today and took I-90 East. We both agreed that the Black Hills were very beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Stopped at Wall Drug and had some 5 Cent coffee and a huge cinnamon bun – delicious. From there we entered the Badlands National Park and drove the 240 Loop through the Eastern section of the park. It was beautiful. Headed back to I-90 and the wind came up and practically blew us off the road – poor Mike had a tough drive. Saw lots of sunflower fields and prairie. There were rolling hills and it was quite pretty. Ended up in Oacoma, SD for the night at an RV resort right on the Missouri River. I never knew it was so wide. We will head to Sioux Falls tomorrow (it is about 160 miles from here). Once we get there we will stay for two weeks to spend time with our friends Sherill & Dick Kinsley. So this will be my last entry for a while.

Hi, guys!! Your trip sounds so very much fun!! Wish we were there! Same old, same old here. Really hot. Of course, since the State Fair is on! Don't know if you heard that Mary Lybeck isn't doing well. She's in a private nursing home here and Mary Ann said she doesn't thing she's doing too well. Otherwise, everyone is doing fine with the exception of missing you!! Stay safe and continue having a great time! XXXOOO Clarice
