Days 113-15: Hong Kong II
From RTW 080808 in Hong Kong, China on Nov 27 '08
A slightly more sedate weekend this time with less people generally and more time with Darryl, Shelley and Murray. Stay at Chez Hood this time rather than the Metropole Hotel Kowloon of a few weeks ago, noteworthy as the believed starting point of SARs a few years back (no wonder it was cheap). Weekend spent:
Watching the new Bond film – fantastic
Visited a few nice bars with views along the waterfront (and got round to taking some pictures of the skyline this time)
I spent some time at the sports club with Darryl whilst the girls went shopping (we only played snooker and had a few pints so the girls probably got more exercise!)

Did the Jumbo floating restaurants all afternoon champagne brunch on Sunday – divine food and constant glass refills whether at the table or lounging in the wicker pods.
Went in to Sam’s tailor for my final fitting, only to find that they’ve posted them to the UK for so reason already – oops.
Many many hours on the phone to useless BA trying to rearrange flights (aarrrgghh) – turns out going to Nam via Bangkok airport is a problem and now questioning the whole later Thailand bit of our plan.
