Last night in Paris

We got up a little late... man, how much walking have we done!  We started at Notre Dame.  European Kings sure did have egos!  What's funny is we should have done St Paul's last.  Notre Dame is really nice but seeing it after St Paul's... well, you sure do get higher standards.  With the strong gothic style though I felt like I was in a Marilyn Manson album cover.  We then went the Picasso museum.  He was a freak!  But what an amazing freak.  You look at his paintings and just wonder what was going through his mind.  It's controled chaos.  We really liked it.  We ate lunch at a cafe in Marais.  We then went to Musee d'Orsay.  Poor Van Gogh didn't get a fair shot.  It was really cool seeing his paintings in person.  We're had just gotten a little museumed out though.  There was some incredible stuff there though.  We decided to walk to to Sacre-Coeur.  Ok, we've REALLY been walking alot.  It was a pretty church (again, standards are very high now with churches).  It started raining so we hung out for a while.  What was strange was there was a mass going on.  All these tourists in from the rain and people were in mass!  We then walked, walked and walked.  We had a nice dinner at a cafe in Montmarte.  There is where we met several what I heard described Frenchy French people.  Rude!!!!  I got into a descussion with one.  Like father like son, huh?  Again though... over all Parisians have been very nice.  Last night we just hung out on the Champs Elysees.. or "the street" as we're calling it because neither of us can pronounce it.  We have an open day today in Paris.  Then we're on a train to Venice tonight.  Can't wait!
