our lodging was pretty high class and i doubt ill be able to afford that again but we stayed in the oceania building across from the lighthouse on the beach. probably not for all you punters out there but it made our holiday.

we had heard lots of bad things about salvador, how unsafe it was, to keep an eye on all your possesions at all times and yourself BUT not once did i feel unsafe, i loved this place the people are incredibly friendly ridiculously over populated but full of life and fun, especially this time of year.

you have to do it before you die

get your t shirts or abadas to the bloco as soon as you get into town, if you want party with thousands of brazilians get ivete sangalo and ciclete com banana abadas or if you want to kiss heaps go for beijo or amor abadas.

food and grog is heaps cheap and the weathers fantastic this time of year.

this experience is like jumpin out of a plane, you have to do it before you die.

we went to rio for a few days after, beautiful city, heaps to do, completely different carnaval and different experience.
