We spent Christmas 2004 in Minnesota to celebrate my parent's 50th Anniversary.  The whole family was able to be together for the first time in years (including my youngest brother and kids from Washington DC).  It was 13 degrees below zero the first week, with windchill sometimes -20 degrees. I did all my Christmas shopping there, that's an adventure in 20 below weather.  (I grew up there so I adapted quite easily, but my kids and husband didn't do so well with the cold.)  We went outdoor iceskating and mostly spending time with relatives and parties.  We did go shopping at Mall of America, as usual we didn't see nearly enough stores and spent too much time in Camp Snoopy.  It was fun though.  I always buy a bunch of Minnesota souveniers.

BRRRRRRR
