Well, I survived New York City! With the holidays there were so many people around. I started out in Times Square and had a good look around at Planet Hollywood and the Hard Rock Cafe and some of the other stores in that area. Then I moved on to Madam Tussauds and hung out with Nick Cage,Will Smith, Hugh Grant, anbd the Osbournes. I did a tour of the UN and went up the Empire State Building. The lines were terrible! But the view is pretty amazing! The second day I toured the NBC Studios, had some NY Cheesecake (its very good!), toured Radio City Music Hall and saw the Christmas Spetacular there as well! The story line is kind of cheesy but the dancing and the effects are amazing! After the show I walked arund Rockefellar Center where they have the HUGE tree and the ice skating rink. Day 3: I toured the WTC Ground Zero site, Its still very overwhelming and in the tribute center i had to bring out the tissues. our 2 tour guides were working in the WTC when it all happened. Their stories are terrifying and amazing. I thought it fitting afterwards to take a tour of the 2 old churches in the area St Pauls and Trinity Church. a walk down Wall St, past the NY Stock Exchange, past Tiffanys took me to the South Street Seaport. I went to the Bodies Exhibition. They some different things than when I went to it in Sydney.Tried some NYC pizza. Skyview by my moms house in Winslow, AR still has it beat by a long shot! The 31st I spent ALL day standing in Times Square, but it was worth it to see the ball drop and experience NYE in Times Square! I had a great view too. Right in front of the Ball and just under Mtv Studios. I saw Velvet Revolver and Kid Rock perform. After the ball dropped the exiting crowd moved so smoothly that I was back to my hostel well before 2am. The day after I spent the day wandering in Central Park. What a beautiful place. I stopped at the HUGE Museum of Natural History (the museum from the movie Night at the Museum). Its so big you could spend days in there! The last 2 days I was in NYC were sooooo cold! The wind was painful to stand in. I was taken to Coney Island by one of the guys that worked security at the hostel.(To get away from a harmless but annoying stalker!) We went to the Aquarium there! After, because it was so cold, we went to the movies to see The Great Debaters and Alien vs Predator 2. And finally the very last day i was in NYC I got to the Statue of Liberty. It was another amzingly cold day. I have not felt anything that cold in a long time. I got off the ferry on Liberty Island but didn't go to Ellis Island...only looked from inside the boat. I couldn't take the cold that day.

it was worth it to see the ball drop and experience NYE in Times Square
