At the Hindu temple. This is a very old temple and very popular; it was filled with worshippers and also a few tourists like me. Pictures aren't really encouraged so I only snapped a few.

Unbelievably, our time in India was drawing to an end.  I could not believe it was already time to leave; it seemed like we'd only just arrived.  However, the calendar does not lie.  During our last day or two, we went around and said good-bye to all the friends and family who made our visit such a wonderful one.  We ate a lot of good food.  We took a bunch of photos.  Chitra took me shopping and to a Hindu temple.  And Sishir and I dressed up like a South Indian bride and groom, just because we could.  I had no idea how to put on the sari, and although the Guide to Madras that Sekar had included a 12 step method to do so, I just let Chitra wrap me into it.  This is the sari she gave me for our wedding, and I must say it is gorgeous.  And the jewelry, also a wedding gift, was the perfect complement.  I may not look like an Indian bride, but I sure felt like one.
