So, I finally decided to pull my finger out & update my travel blog. For those of you who dont yet know, over a month ago myself & Michael decided we could no longer be apart & reunited in Scotland. We are currently working in a hotel, in a cute village about 2 hours from Glasgow. We are basically working through Winter to save the pennies before we continue travelling together through beautiful Europe.

Before we started working here, we managed to fit in a two week trip through Western Europe. We visited Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg & France. We had a fantastic time & can't what till May to see more countries & spend more time travelling.

Brussels in Belgium was our first stop. Every step you take around this beautiful city you are tempted by the smell of fresh waffles being made, the shop windows full of delicious chocolates & the thousands of different beers that are available in the unique pubs. We spent three nights in Belgium & any longer than this we would not have been able to walk from all the extra weight we would have put on from all the calorie intake.

Whilst staying in Brussels, we did a day trip to the medieval city of Brugge. We loved it here & wished we could have stayed longer. Whilst in Brugge, we did a boat tour on the canals that snake through the city. Here are some of my favourite photos from Begium & brugge :)

Great photos! Glad you had a good time. There is so much to see in Belgium and it looks like you covered a lot! http://blog.reserve123.com/2008/11/spending-time-in-the-capital-of-europe/http://www.brusselstours.net
