Our first stop out of anacortes was supposed to be Merrit Lake. There was too much snow so we left for the palisades. the drive over the pass was beautiful and we made many stops for pictures. The Palisades aka Douglas Creek is located a little south of the middle of nowhere! Someone had obviously spent lots of time and money building up blockades so nobody could get through. but we did!!! This trip was the ultimate test on our vehicle. Our beautiful 4runner did awesome! BURLY! Once we found the perfect camping spot, (down near the creek in the middle of the dessert ) we ate soup and went to sleep. and THEN! James started puking profusely! oh no. so I (Lacee) babied the shit out of him and we slept in the back of the truck for a long time. he was in the truck for 30 hours straight. but then he was all better and we started driving to leavenworth. once there we partied down for 2 nights with good friends. woo!

Then we went to Seattle and surprised Whitney in the hospital. We met Alex and Brian there, and THEN! Dave and Kat surprised us. It was great.

and THEN! james started puking profusely! oh no.
