The Maltese Trip

I can remember Malta being a 'sandy' island - lots of coastal areas with a lot of historical information.

Visits to the local Mosques and churches were interesting and a day trip to Gozo was very different. 

The beaches were lovely and and the sea was warm, except when I came out looking like Medusa

The beaches were lovely and and the sea was  warm, except when I came out looking like Medusa.  Unfortunately, there had been a storm the week before we arrived and it had washed up all the seaweed.  While I was in the sea, a wave decided to pull me underneath and push me forward - right into the seaweed. I came out absolutely covered.  I went to my parents in tears and all they did was laugh at me
