Arriving at one of our favorite places in Europe - the foot of the German alps near Zugspitkze, the highest point in Germany.  An ideal little village with a beautiful view of alps all around us.

Arriving here around 5 PM.  Even with the low cloud cover over the alps the GPS which worked perfectly yet brought us into Garmisch a different way than we did before avoiding the traffic around Munich and right through the alps.  They are as magnificant as ever!!!  I just love Garmisch.  The town is touristy yet so beautiful.  Coming into Edelweiss it is as we remembered.  Had a great dinner in the Pullman Place restaurant (T-bone and Prime Rib -superb).  Went to bed about 10 pm and woke about 11 am - time change!

It is light rain today so we just walked the town enjoying the idealic atmosphere.  Temp is 40-50 but we were prepared.  I truly love this place and feel like I belong near where my ancestors are from for hundreds of years.
