We got another cheap bus to Glasgow and arrived to town really late due to the Loch Ness tour. Our backpackers was more of a hotel than a backpackers and we had our own room on the 7th floor. Glasgow reminded us heaps of Melbourne. It was kind of hard to know that we were actually in Scotland.
The next day we went out into the city to find things to do. We went to the visual arts museum on our way to the info center. At the info center David stupidly told Meagan that he found a flyer that advertised a Kylie exhibition. Meagan was highly excited and we spent the next three hours trying to work the bus system to get there. We finally did and to Davids delight it was held in another museum so he didnt have to actually look at all of the Kylie memorabilia. All the exhibition did was make Meagan wish that she was tiny enough to fit into her clothes.
That night we went to the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and we were sitting next to the nerdiest 20 year old we have ever seen. He was wearing a suit and crossed his legs in a very feminine way and at the end he kept on yelling out 'Bravo!' in a very English accent. The orchestra were great by the way and probably did deserve the bravo.
We booked our flights to Belfast and hoped we had done it right. We plan on coming back to Scotland as there is so much that we want to see and do here. We were very upset to leave but we have many, many more countries to see.
