Halifax was a blast. good hostel there, which organised stuff for doing most nights if you wanted. first night there was a pub crawl. now who was i to say no to that. turned out halifax had a damm good night life with lots of places fairly close together that were worth going to. the only downer of the night was afterwards i had the worst pizza ever. seriously cardboard with cheese on top would have being better. next morning (yes got up in the morning, had to move my car as free parking was only at night) explored the city a bit more. there was a busker festival with all the acts down at the waterfront. one or two of them were worth stopping for.

the harbour front is probably the nicest part of town with a lot of the tourist attractions or a least a few streets off.

went into the maritime museum, which was between ok and good. had permanent exhibits on the halifax explosion(largest man made explosion before the A-bomb) and the titantic (most of the ships sent to recover bodies were from halifax) and there was a temporary one on the amistad, the slave ship that they made the movie about a few years back. a reproduction of it was in harbour at the time.

also the was a cool crystal factory where you could watch them make, well whatever they were making. town has some parks where you can waste some time,  in my case ice cream time, althougth i woudn't call this wasting time.

didn't bother with the citidal since i had been to the one in quebec. i'm sure they couldn't have been that much different.

that night took it a bit easy, as next day i'm hitting the road again. so didn't stay out too late in the bars.
