A down day. Kate says they are the best of all. We hung out at the Maiers’ place and did some washing. Andrew mowed the lawn, I visited the council house and met Manuela who helped me with the book stuff that I wanted to get sent off. Andrew is spending the week gloating that he is thirty something. Yeah, yeah yeah. I think the whole lawn trimming, whipper snipping and scythe swinging was meant to prove it. Not convinced. He needs a massage now… or so he says. Just you wait until Saturday boyo. And in the meantime respect your elders. Nora the cat is up for lots of stroking as we clean out the camper and sort out the stuff we have managed to accumulate. Trying to sort it into – pack for Australia, get rid of and take with us. It is interesting how much you prioritise when you only have several square meters to live in. We are changing over to another camper in a couple of days and we will have to transport all the gear in the Espace. Not sure whether it will fit. Oh well.

Naomi popped down to visit Manuela who is a work mate of Rosina’s. She was in Australia for three months recently and caught up with Mum and Vic there. She gave Naomi a hand with some photocopying and asked us over for a meal the next day. We are trying out some new Swiss spices and they are a huge hit – even Michael is devouring his chicken and asking for more (having taken to refusing it in the last few months).
