We arrivied at Schipol Airport, met by Miriem & Joop, friends of our house exchange hosts. Warm, friendly couple who arrived in separate vehickles in order to accommodate our family and our luggage. We missed our hosts at the airport by 30 minutes as they headed to our home in the Vancouver area.
A most welcoming, and lovely home in Wateringen. A large vase of white roses, freshly baked chocolate cake, a bottle of wine awaited us on arrival at this most lovely home in Wateringen. We feel very welcome in this comfortable home surrounded by by their creativity and clusters of beauty...a picture arrangement, bed cushions bearinfg French words, a weathered white pantry cabinet.
