We're Here!

As we arrived at Santa Ana/John Wayne Airport in Southern Cali, the traffic was unbelievable - it was hard to move from place to place, long queues of people, rudiness and overall congestion... and this was just in the terminal.

I could tell my mom was excited to see all of her west coast grandkids.

The terminal was nice facility - very well lite and full of earth tone colors. The larger-then-life statue of John Wayne was a great photo spot and the kids enjoyed climbing on the base to take the pictures. Even dad wanted a cameo shot.

Getting 7 people and well over 7 bags of clothing/carry-ons into the rental minivan was a sight to be seen.

Since we arrived mid-day we were unable to check into the Residence Inn so we decided to grab a bite to eat. Since Laneshia stated: "I don't want burgers", we found a nice sit down spot right in front of Disneyland.

As the food began to arrive - my brother Travis and family arrived to join us as well after their trip in from their home near Fresno. This was a pretty important event since it was the first time Jadin and Aria had seen his two older kids - Kinser and Garrett. Awww... cousins meeting cousins for the first time, ain't that special.

And I could tell my mom was also excited to see her west coast grandkids.
