We arrive back in Split around 9am. The crew is eager to get us off the boat so that they can get the boat ready for the boss and his family. We waste some time at a café on the Riva before we grab a cab back to the Split airport for our 1PM flight home, which is delayed by about an hour.
We transition through Frankfurt again, which is a big pain, because the airport is under construction and we have to go through security again. Kim and mom get upgraded to business class for their flight to NYC. I fly first class to Dulles, Washington DC, where I have a layover. Once there I have to wait in a customs line for about an hour an a half to gain reentry to the states. I would rather have been back in beautiful Croatia.
