Getting ready

Well, it's now the Monday before the trip is about to start. This is Monique writing, in a bid to help dad to get used to what to write on this thing, but also (secretly) trying to get used to it myself so I can teach the real bloggers properly!!!

Mum & Dad are currently sitting behind me, on the floor behind the sofa, counting up and sorting the food supplies. I'm personally quite concerned where it's all going to go - I think the first lot of crew are going to have plenty of eating to do just to get the weight down. But now Dad is pacing the floor (which I've never seen him do actually), so I think the tensions must be rising!

Well, this was just another practice one so I'll leave the real blogging to sailors.
