Surprise visit to Baka & Dida

We decided early Saturday that it would probably be our last chance to go to Kutin and visit Anas grandparents before Ana started working, Mum left for Rome and Val had to go to Switzerland and begin his new job.

So we all bundled into the ever-faithful Audi for our 125kms drive to Kutina to surprise Baka & Dida.

When we got there, little did we know that we arrived in the middle of "siesta time" and inadvertently woke them up! But it was a welcome surprise and they were very happy to see Mum again for one last time before she left to go back to Australia.

We had a great time doing the usual thing we do.. drink coffee, talk and nibble on fruits, cheese, home-made sausage and talk some more.. before we knew it, it was time to go and Mum said farewell to Baka & Dida and promised them that she would visit again soon.
