Going South to Ouarzazte and beyond.
From Incheon, South Korea. in Ouarzazate, Morocco on Nov 30 '06
Well some of the city and town selections aren't listed here but I will try inculde as many as I can, from Marrakech we found a small travel agent in the Medina and organised a trekk/ bus trip up through the South of the country all the way to the border of the Western Sahara.
We left Marrakech early in the morning around 6am, after waiting outside the travel agent for the remaining tourists to be loaded up onto the bus. We then departed through the empty streets of the city, further away the sun started to rise, we drove for quite a few hours along the winding roads far into the Atlas Mountains, as it was winter they were rather slippery and freezing as we gained height. The Mountains were covered in snow and there weren't many barriers alongside the road, sometimes made you a little uneasy as you could feel the tyres of the mini bus sliding sideways due to the lack of grip. We arrived closer towards the peak height of the Mountains bypassing small man made clay houses and villages.
From the Atlas Mountains, to Eit Ben Haddou (where Lawrence of Arabia was filmed along with snipets in movies like Gladiator etc),
