Turks and Caicos is a popular tourist destination for it's magnificient beaches and water activities...diving, fishing, snorkeling etc.
Providenciales (Provo) is the most developed of the islands and we stopped here to watch 3 rugby world cup games on the big screen at an ex-pat friendly bar. Aussies, Kiwis, Poms, French,Sth Africans and locals cheering on qtr finalists.
Land is fairly arid.
Water is crystal clear and blue, blue...but we have just come from the Bahamas...so we were happy enough,after a few days, to travel through the night to get to Dominican Republic.
